KUALA LUMPUR: It's going to be a straight fight in Setiawangsa as Umno candidate Datuk Ahmad Fauzi Zahari takes on PKR candidate Ibrahim Yaacob for the general election.

Both candidates will be contesting for the P118 Setiawangsa seat.

Newcomer Ahmad Fauzi, 50, is the Setiawangsa Umno vice-chairman and is replacing former Federal Territories Mnister Datuk Zulhasnan Rafique who contested in the last general election.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Yaacob, 60, who is also Anwar's chief of staff, will be throwing his hat in the ring for the second time.

Zulhasnan was the sole Barisan Nasional MP in Kuala Lumpur. He retained his Setiawangsa seat in the last general election defeating PKR's Ibrahim Yaacob by a majority of 8,134 votes.
