KUALA LUMPUR: There are no major surprises in the PKR line-up of parliamentary candidates here for GE13.
Most of the party's incumbents will seek re-election, announced Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The only exception is Wangsa Maju, previously won by Wee Choo Keong, which will be contested by former Gerakan vice-president and current PKR central committee member Datuk Dr Tan Kee Kwong.
Wee left the party in 2010 and has been a Barisan Nasional-friendly independent since.
Meanwhile, those defending their seats are PKR vice-presidents Nurul Izzah Anwar (Lembah Pantai), Tian Chua (Batu) and head of the Selangor caretaker government Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim (Bandar Tun Razak).
Anwar's chief of staff Ibrahim Yaacob will be throwing his hat in the ring for the second time in Setiawangsa.
He lost in the last election to former Federal Territories Minister Datuk Zulhasnan Rafique.
